NEW ORLEANS –The University of South Alabama men's basketball team will open the 2021-22 Sun Belt Conference schedule with two road games, followed by four straight home games at the Mitchell Center in the schedule released by the conference office Tuesday.
South starts the SBC season with road games at UTA (Dec. 30) and at Texas State on New Year's Day. The Jaguars open up their conference home slate with a four-game homestand with Appalachian State (Jan. 6), Coastal Carolina (Jan. 8), Georgia State (Jan. 13) and Georgia Southern (Jan. 15).
USA will then spend five of its next six games on the road, with trips to Louisiana (Jan.
