BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Jags built off a 2-0 week last week, improving to 9-0 on the season with a 5-2 win over Murray State in Birmingham.
Murray State got on the board first with a win at number two doubles, with Elysia Pool and Nikola Novotna falling to Emma Honore and Annika Pschorr 6-4. The Racers earned the doubles point with a win at number one, with a 7-6 win from Natalie Slezakova and Sarah Bureau beating Luminita Tutunaru and Tereza Dejnozkova.
Down 1-0, South geared up for singles, where they earned wins on five of six courts to secure the win.
