TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - South Alabama competed in its final regular season meet of the year on Friday morning at the Crimson Classic. The men placed 18th in the 8k (20 teams), and the women also finished 18th in the 6k (22 teams).
Xavier Johnson paced the men's team with a 18-second personal best and 51st place individual finish (25:11.7). Charleen Elizondo led the women's team for the fourth consecutive event and marked beat her previous personal best by 8 seconds. (21:16.9).
