MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama Director of Athletics Joel Erdmann announced Tuesday the addition of two members to the staff with the hiring of Chelsea Brown and Santuan McGee.
The former has been named athletic compliance coordinator while the latter — a three-year football letterwinner for the Jaguars — has accepted the position of director of athletic development.
Brown arrives from North Carolina Central, where she served as graduate assistant/compliance coordinator since October 2020. In that role, she was responsible for managing all aspects of Eagle student-athletes' return to campus in the fall including scheduling compliance rules education, administering NCAA and institutional forms, and distributing educational materials to all teams.
