JAGUAR WOMEN’S TENNIS BLANKS GEORGIA STATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON

MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team defeated Georgia State 4-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.

Seniors Yu Fujioka and Nikola Kohoutova guided the Jaguars in doubles play as they cruised to a 6-2 victory over Eva Chiva and Maddy Frediani at the No. 1 position. Freshmen Aina Domingo-Bernabeu and Otoha Aoki gave the Jaguars a one-point advantage after a great battle on court three (6-4).

South then carried its momentum into singles action as Fujioka set the tone with her singles win coming in straight sets (6-1, 6-1) on court one.
