USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award List
LEXINGTON, Ky. – South Alabama volleyball was named a USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award recipient for the 2021-22 academic year, as announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association on Monday.
It marked the fourth time in the program's history that USA has earned the distinction after receiving the award in 2018, 2012 and 2010. South Alabama was one of 215 NCAA Division I programs to earn the award, which honors teams that maintain a grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale.
