Jaguar soccer ties Georgia State in Sun Belt opener

MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama women's soccer tied Georgia State 0-0 in its Sun Belt opener Sunday at The Cage.

It was both team's fourth draw of the season.

The Jags led the offensive attack, taking nine shots but couldn't find the back of the net. Georgia State took two shots.

South's best opportunity came halfway through the first when Jasmine Greene was awarded a penalty kick, but Panther keeper Jaddah Foos made a diving save to keep the game scoreless.

South keeper Jaidy Gutierrez Campos recorded her sixth shutout of the season.
