MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama continues the second half of Sun Belt Conference play this weekend, hosting Southern Miss Sunday at 1 p.m. at The Cage. Sunday's match will be the first time the teams are meeting as conference opponents.
The Jags lead the series with the Golden Eagles 10-6 and a 6-4 in Mobile against them. Southern Miss has not won in Mobile since 2008 but the Jags are currently on a two-game losing streak against the Golden Eagles.
Freshman defender Gabriela Angulo and freshman midfielder Hilary Jaen return to the team this week after missing the last two matches due to international duty.
