MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama women's soccer head coach Richard Moodie announced Friday the addition of two transfers to the Jaguar roster - Chiara Singarella and Melina Descary.
Chiara Singarella – Midfielder/Forward
Mendoza, Argentina
Instituto Santa Maria Goretii – Kennesaw State
Transfer from Kennesaw State where she played one season … Appeared in 14 games while starting 10 … Scored her first collegiate goal and recorded an assist in a 2-1 win over Presbyterian … Totaled three or more shots in four separate games … Finished the season ranked third on the team in shots (23) and second in shots on goal (13)
Graduated from Instituto Santa Maria Goretii in 2021 … Played club soccer for Independiente Rivadavia as an attacking midfielder, where she won three-consecutive championships
Played for the Argentina national team in both soccer and handball .
