NEW ORLEANS – For the second-straight week, University of South Alabama cross country runner Kriami Yego was named the Male Sun Belt Conference Runner of the Week as announced by the league office on Wednesday.
The weekly league honor is the third of Yego's career as he was also named the Sun Belt's runner of the week last week as well as last fall on Sept. 17. He is the first South Alabama runner to earn the honor in back-to-back weeks since Micah Triop did so during the 2008 season. Yego's selection marks the 46th time a Jaguar male runner has earned the honor.
