MOBILE, Ala. – University of South Alabama head men's golf coach Alex Hamilton announced Thursday that Connor Futrell has signed a National Letter-of-Intent and will join the program in the fall.
Futrell, who hails from Tallahassee, Fla., will have four seasons of eligibility. He is the second prospect to ink with the Jaguars under the direction of Hamilton, who just completed his first season guiding the team, joining John Hilliard Catanzaro (Gadsden, Ala.).
"I think Connor is a perfect fit here," Hamilton said. "He is a very accomplished player — he's an AJGA winner with another AJGA top-three result — and a super-talented kid with a good ability to score the golf ball.
