ATLANTA – For the second straight season, senior South Alabama safety Keith Gallmon Jr. has been named to the Wuerffel Trophy Watch List as announced by the organization Thursday morning.
Gallmon is one of 115 individuals from the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level in consideration for the award honoring college football's top community servant. The preseason watch list is the second for Gallmon this month as he was announced as a nominee for the American Football Coaches Association's Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®.
Nominations for the Wuerffel Trophy are made by the respective universities' Sports Information Departments and will close on Oct.
