South Alabama hits the road following an off week and a Thursday night ESPNU tilt to face Arkansas State to close out the month of October, facing off two days before Halloween.
The Red Wolved were picked to finish sixth in the Sun Belt Conference West Division and head coach Butch Jones returns four players who were named All-Sun Belt last season and three players who were named to the preseason team. They also had five players named to preseason watch lists ahead of the 2022 season.
Arkansas State appeared in nine straight bowl games from 2011-19 and will look to make a return under their second-year head coach.
