JAGUAR FOOTBALL FALLS TO MEMPHIS ON SATURDAY

MOBILE, Ala. – Kenneth Gainwell and Kylan Watkins each rushed for over 100 yards while Brady White passed for three scores on Saturday to lead Memphis to a 42-6 non-conference football victory over the University of South Alabama at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

Gainwell posted 145 yards on 16 carries with Watkins running 11 times for another 113 as the Tigers (3-0) rushed for 213 yards in the contest. White was 12-of-20 passing for 209 yards as well, while JJ Russell posted seven stops and Austin Hall recovered a pair of fumbles — one which he returned for a touchdown — as UofM limited the Jaguars (1-2) to 248 yards of total offense.
