JAGUAR FLUKER PUNCHES TICKET TO US OLYMPIC TRIALS

EUGENE, Ore. – The University of South Alabama's senior Autavia Fluker has been accepted to compete amongst the nation's best athletes at the 2021 United States Olympic Trials Thursday at 3:25 p.m. (CT) the Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.

Fluker's qualifying mark of 68.17m in the hammer throw at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championship shattered the school and SBC records. The Bessemer, Alabama, native ranks No. 3 in the nation in the event after her remarkable performance at the meet.

Fluker has recorded six hammer throw titles throughout this outdoor season and currently reigns as the best hammer thrower in USA history after throwing a 70.
