BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – South Alabama Women's Tennis opened fall competition at the Samford Round Robin in Birmingham, Ala., this weekend. The Jaguars made an impression in doubles, going 5-9 against Troy, Samford and Jacksonville State combined.
DAY ONE:
On the first day of action, Manal Ennaciri/Kenza Elakili and Ava Rath/Jade Marie each earned wins in doubles matches against Samford (6-1 and 7-6, respectively), with Ennaciri and Rio Maeda each picking up wins in singles against Jacksonville State.
DAY TWO:
The second day was the most successful for the Jags, going 2-3 in doubles against Troy and 5-6 in singles against Samford.
