TOLEDO, Ohio | South Alabama finished 14th overall at the Inverness Intercollegiate this week hosted by Toledo at the famed Inverness Club.
The Jags used a final round 293 to move up to the spot, finishing ahead of a pair of Pac-12 opponents in Washington and USC. They finished two shots behind Charlotte and five behind Iowa, while also finishing seven behind the host Toledo and just 11 shots out of the top 10.
Jack Hearn led the Jags with a 6-over (219) for the tournament including a final round 71, while Jordan Plunkett finished with an 11-over (224).
