MOBILE, Ala. – Jaguar right-hander Patrick McBride tossed six shutout innings to lead the University of South Alabama baseball team to a 7-2 win over UT Arlington Sunday at Stanky Field.
McBride (1-1) tossed six shutout innings, and allowed just one hit while striking out one and issuing one walk in a career-high six innings pitched to earn his first career win at USA and help the Jags secure the three-game series sweep over UTA (21-30, 11-16 SBC).
South Alabama will return to action Tue., May 15, when it travels to Hammond, La.
