JAGS SWEEP ALCORN STATE, EXTEND WIN STREAK TO FOUR

MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama volleyball team defeated Alcorn State in straight sets (25-8, 25-10, 25-17) Tuesday at Jag Gym.

The Jaguars extended their win streak to four with the victory. South Alabama (3-3) will return to action Sat., Sept. 14 when it travels to Kennesaw, Ga., to compete in the Owl Invitational against Samford at 11 a.m. (CT) and Kennesaw State at 6 p.m. (CT) at the KSU Convocation Center.

GAME FACTS
- The Jags jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the opening set, aided by kills from Hannah Harris and Kelley Hartman and service ace by Paige Lynn.
