MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama men's tennis starts postseason action Thursday, taking on the No. 9 seed Southern Miss on Thursday at 1 p.m. in Peachtree City, Ga.
South Alabama claimed the number one seed for the conference tournament, while No. 9 Southern Miss played Wednesday, beating No. 8 Coastal Carolina 5-2. South finished the regular season 7-1 and were co-champions with Old Dominion.
The Jags are host to the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year in Sebastien Collard, who won the same award in 2022. Collard was also named first team All-Conference for singles and was joined by Maxime St-Hilaire on the first team and Louis Delcour on the second team.
