LAFAYETTE, La. – Louisiana right-hander Nick Lee struck out a career-high 10 batters to lead the Cajuns to a 2-1 win over No. 27 University of South Alabama baseball Friday at Russo Park.
Lee (1-0) allowed one run on one hit in eight innings while striking out 10 in eight innings pitched to earn the win.
South Alabama will return to action Saturday when it faces Louisiana in game two at 2 p.m. at Russo Park.
