CONWAY, S.C. – The University of South Alabama volleyball team fell to Coastal Carolina in straight sets (21-25, 14-25, 21-25) Sunday in Sun Belt Conference action at HTC Center.
CCU (14-7, 11-1 SBC) moved into sole possession of first place in the SBC East Division, after entering the match tied with USA (15-7, 10-2 SBC) for the division lead. The loss snapped a Jaguar six-game road win streak, and marked its first road loss since falling at Ole Miss on Sept. 16.
