LAFAYETTE, La. – Jaguar right-hander Matt Boswell tossed a complete game to lead the University of South Alabama baseball team to a 6-4 win over Louisiana Saturday at Russo Park.
Boswell (4-1) allowed five runs on four hits with eight strikeouts without issuing a walk to record his second career complete game and first by a Jaguar this season. Four Jags recorded multiple hits in the game, led by Hunter Donaldson who finished with a season-high three hits, including a double, one RBI and two runs scored. Reid Powers added two hits, two RBIs and one run scored.
