JAGS CLINCH APP STATE SERIES, EXTEND WIN STREAK TO SEVEN

BOONE, N.C. – The University of South Alabama baseball team recorded nine extra-base hits, including four home runs, in a 13-6 win over Appalachian State in Sun Belt Conference East Division action Saturday at Beaver Field.

USA (28-22, 14-12 Sun Belt) clinched the series with the win, and extended its season-best win streak to seven games.

South Alabama will return to action Sunday when it faces Appalachian State at 10 a.m. (CT) in the series finale at Beaver Field.
