BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | South Alabama used a balanced offensive attack Saturday versus Auburn as five players had seven or more kills, but the Tigers picked up a 3-1 (25-18, 23-25, 25-22, 25-18) win at the Alabama Showdown held at the Pete Hanna Center.
Cambria Gaier led the Jaguars (5-6) with 13 kills to go along with a pair of aces and five digs. Eva Dittmar and Maradigth O'Gorman each had eight kills, while Sarah Gooch and Alexa Strandberg had seven apiece.
Briana Wilson was one of three players to register double digits defensively as she had 15 digs.
