JAG WOMEN’S BASKETBALL HANDLES FIRST ROAD TEST OF THE SEASON

Box Score Conway, Ark. - Damaya Telemaque scored 21 points in the University of South Alabama women's basketball team win over Central Arkansas. In the first road game of the year for the Jaguars the freshman guard made her second career start, played 38 minutes, and shot 7-of-11 from the field to lead her team to a 58-50 non-conference victory at the Ferris Center and improve to 3-0 on the young season.

India Hall tied with Central Arkansas' Alaina Fisher with nine rebounds, and scored her only bucket of the game when she made a layup to take the lead back from the Sugar Bears with five minutes to go in the third quarter.
