COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The University of South Alabama volleyball team split a pair of matches at the Golden Eagle Invitational Friday at Eblen Center.
South Alabama (4-1) fell in five sets (25-23, 18-25, 27-29, 25-21, 8-15) to tournament host Tennessee Tech before rebounding for a win in straight sets (25-11, 25-19, 25-17) over UNC Asheville. The Jaguars will close play at the Golden Eagle Invitational on Saturday when they face Valparaiso at 10:30 a.m.
