MOBILE, Ala. – The outdoor season for the University of South Alabama men's and women's track and field teams will commence this weekend when the programs play host to the Jaguar Opener Friday and Saturday at Jaguar Track.
The meet — the first of three at home for the Jags this spring — will begin at 4:30 p.m. (CST) Friday, with the men's and women's javelin, pole vault, triple jump and shot put taking place on the first day of the competition. Action will resume Saturday at 9:45 a.m. as the men's hammer throw gets underway, with running events beginning at 11:30 a.
