LOUISVILLE, Ky. – South Alabama junior women's cross-country runner Laura Labuschaigne won her third-career race and the South Alabama men take first behind a second-place finish by freshman Warno Potgieter at the Greater Louisville Classic.
Labuschaigne took the 5k women's race with a time of 17:42.12, nearly 14 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. The Jaguar men took first place in the 8k men's race with 50 points as they finished of Memphis by just two points. The South women took first-place among Division I squads with 65 points and third overall behind Aquinas (35) and Grand Valley State (65).
