MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama baseball team will host Alabama State at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Stanky Field.
Jaguar right-hander Hunter Soleymani (0-0) will make his first start of the season. Soleymani is 2-3 with one save and a 3.81 ERA in his career at USA. Tuesday's game will be his ninth career start after he made seven his freshman year and one last season. Alabama State has not announced its starter for Tuesday's contest.
USA redshirt sophomore Drew LaBounty enters the week as the Sun Belt Conference leader in RBI with eight, while Danny Martinez ranks second in the league with six RBI.
