MOBILE, Ala. – Southeastern Louisiana used a four-run third inning and five-run fifth to defeat the University of South Alabama baseball team 12-4 Tuesday at Stanky Field.
The Lions' 12 runs marked the most allowed by a Jaguar team this season. Eight SLU starters hit safely in the game, led by Jacob Seward who finished 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Wells Davis went 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI to lead the Jaguars at the plate.
SLU right-handed reliever Evan Hileman (3-0) tossed 2 1/3 scoreless innings and allowed just two hits to earn the win.
