MOBILE, Ala. – Prior to playing the final game of his collegiate career, University of South Alabama defensive lineman Tre Alford sat down to record this week's edition of the weekly podcast of Jaguar Athletics, "Inside JagNation."
A senior from Tuscaloosa, Ala., Alford has been credited with 18 total stops in 11 appearances this fall including recording one sack. He's posted multiple tackles in each of the last three outings, highlighted by a season-best four against Louisiana while the sack came the following week on Senior Day in a win over Arkansas State.
In 36 career games, Alford has totaled 64 tackles — with 5½ of those behind the line of scrimmage — three passes defensed and a forced fumble.
