MOBILE, Ala. – This week's guest on "Inside JagNation" — the official podcast of the University of South Alabama Department of Athletics — is Greg Keel, Assistant Athletic Director for External Relations and Fan Engagement.
In the episode Keel explains his role within the athletic department since joining the Jaguar staff as well as additional duties he has taken on since receiving his current title in August, what his schedule is on a typical day in the office, how many events he works during the course of the year and what his game-day responsibilities are. He also discusses when he made the decision to pursue a career in athletic administration, how that affected his decision where to go to college, in what facet of athletics he worked as a student assistant and his responsibilities in that role.
