MOBILE, Ala. – The day before playing in his final regular-season game at the Mitchell Center, men's basketball senior forward Georgi Boyanov visited with "Inside JagNation," the official podcast of the University of South Alabama Department of Athletics.
As part of this week's podcast, Boyanov discusses his emotions going into the Jaguars' 3:05 p.m. (CST) regular-season finale Saturday against Arkansas State, his development on and off the court since arriving at South as a freshman and what he is proudest of accomplishing in his time on campus. Originally from Lovech, Bulgaria, he talks about his start in basketball as a youth, the decision to move away from his family to attend Stoychev Sports School as a 13-year old as well as his reason for coming to the United States after finishing high school.
