JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of South Alabama women's golfer Julie Hovland finished runner-up at the UNF Collegiate March 8-9 at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
Hovland (75-73-69) carded a 3-under par 69 in Tuesday's final round to finish with a three-round 1-over par total of 217 for the tournament. She finished just three shots back of individual medalist Hanna Alberto of Sam Houston State. It marked Hovland's fourth top-10 finish. Siti Shaari (74-74-70) finished tied for third place with a three-round 2-over par total of 218.
South Alabama finished tied for third after posting a three-round team total of 892.
