After posting impressive numbers during his first season in a South Alabama uniform, preseason accolades were expected for senior tight end Gerald Everett.
For some, those accompanying expectations and pressure may be a bit overwhelming, but Everett is taking them in stride and focusing on living up to his own standard.
"I just try to be the same guy and get better with my teammates each and every day," Everett said. "I try not to worry about preseason expectations. If honors are meant to happen [for me] and it's in God's plan, I feel like it will happen.
