AUSTIN, Texas – University of South Alabama junior Herb McGee has been voted to the Google Cloud Academic All-District® 4 Men's Basketball Team, it was announced Thursday.
The Reserve, La., native is the first USA men's basketball student-athlete on record to earn academic all-district honors. He will move on to the Academic All-America® ballot; results will be announced in March.
McGee, who has a 3.39 GPA in biology, is averaging 9.3 points and 3.0 assists per game this season, starting 18 times in 24 appearances.
