NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference named South Alabama Soccer's Sierra Giorgio Goalkeeper of the Year on Sunday morning. In addition to Giorgio, four other Jags were named to all-conference teams.
Giorgio has consistently performed at a high level for the Jags, recording eight clean sheets and 44 saves across 14 appearances between the pipes. She currently ranks 17th nationally in goals-against average (.611) and leads the conference in save percentage (.846) and shutouts (8). Giorgio was also named to All-Sun Belt Conference First Team.
In addition to Giorgio, Andrea Iljkic was also named to First-Team All-Conference.
