Gaier Nearly Records Double-Double; JMU Rallies Back to Take the Series Finale

MOBILE, Ala. | Cambria Gaier nearly recorded her first career double-double with 19 kills and eight digs, but James Madison rallied back, taking the final two sets, to defeat South Alabama, 3-2 (16-25, 25-20, 18-25, 25-18, 15-9) Friday night at Jag Gym.

Joining Gaier in double figures offensively for South Alabama (13-10, 8-4 SBC) was Maradith O'Gorman who ended the night with 11 kills and a career-high nine block assists. Alexa Strandberg also matched O'Gorman with nine total blocks – two solo and seven assists, while also carding a career-best four aces.
