NORMAN, Okla. – South Alabama men's golfers Jack Hearn, Jacob LeCroy, Eli Mitchell and Jordan Plunkett have been named to the Golf Coaches Association of America All-America Scholar team as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
The honor marks the second-straight year for LeCroy (second overall) and Plunkett (third overall) who were named 2022 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar team. It's also the 15th consecutive season at least one Jag has been named to the list.
To be eligible for GCAA All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their Associate's Degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA.
