FORD'S FIRST-HALF GOAL PUSHES JAGS SOCCER ABOVE WEST FLORIDA

PENSACOLA, Fla. – Freshman Izzy Ford tapped in a goal in the 39th minute and that was the difference between the sides as the University of South Alabama soccer team defeated West Florida, 1-0, Saturday afternoon at the UWF Soccer Complex.

South Alabama (12-5-1, 8-2) moves to 2-2 on the spring campaign. Both wins have been from shutouts in the spring.

West Florida played its first exhibition since the COVID shutdowns, and will play another exhibition with the Jags with no other official contests.
