MOBILE, Ala. – Senior Michael Flowers and redshirt-senior John Pettway both eclipsed 20 points as the University of South Alabama men's basketball team defeated Mobile, 95-75, in its second game in the Goldie and Herman Ungar Memorial Tournament Friday at the Mitchell Center.
Flowers led South with 25 points off seven made field goals including going 5-for-9 from behind the arc. Pettway shot 10-of-15 from the field for 20 points. Kayo Goncalves and Tyreke Locure also made it to double figures with 15 and 10 points, respectively. Jamal West was a rebound and point short of a double-double with nine points and rebounds.
