MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama had five track & field student-athletes named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Athletes. Bodine Degli-Umberti, Kiara Risher and Colette Uys represented the women's team while Sebastian Loschner and Francois Prinsloo were named from the men's squad.
In addition to the five All-Academic Athletes, the Jaguar women's team was named an USTFCCCA All-Academic Team. In order to earn the team award, a team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. The women's team had a 3.5 GPA.
To be named an All-Academic Athlete, student-athletes must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.
