FINAL ROUND RAINED OUT, JAGUAR GOLF STARTS SPRING WITH FOURTH-PLACE FINISH

MOBILE, Ala. – After the final round of the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate was cancelled Tuesday due to inclement weather and an unplayable golf course, the University of South Alabama men's golf team finished the 36-hole event in fourth place.

Three Jaguars ended up among the top 20 in the individual standings, led by Yannick Schütz who carded a 5-under-par 139 total Monday on the first day of play. Peter Staalbo tied for 13th place two strokes behind the junior with Kyle Robinson tying for 17th after posting a two-round score of 142.

Florida State won the team title for the second year in a row after recording a 23-under-par 553 group score as the Seminoles finished five shots in front of Louisville.
