DIAL LEADS MEN’S BASKETBALL IN BIG WIN OVER HUNTINGDON

MOBILE, Ala. – Junior Abdul Dial scored a career-high 23 points as the University of South Alabama men's basketball team exploded for its most points in over 15 years in a 106-76 victory against Huntingdon Sunday afternoon at the Mitchell Center.

Dial shot 8 for 11 from the floor, made two 3-pointers and pulled down a personal-best six rebounds. He led a group of six in double-digits, with junior Trhae Mitchell recording his first career double-double with 15 points and 10 assists.

South Alabama (1-1) led by two with 14:44 to play in the first half but scored the next 15 points over a five-minute stretch to blow the game open.
