NEW ORLEANS — After clearing the best mark in the Sun Belt Conference this season at the Texas Relays, Sean Collins was named the field athlete of the week, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.
Collins now leads the league in the men's pole vault after finishing seventh in the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays clearing 5.35m on Saturday. His mark ranks the sophomore 11th in the country for the event.
The Jaguars will continue the outdoor season on Friday at Auburn University for the Tiger Track Classic.
