BOOKER STELLAR IN RELIEF IN SERIES-OPENING WIN OVER ULM

MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama baseball team scored 10 unanswered runs, and right-hander JoJo Booker tossed five scoreless relief innings in a 12-4 series-opening win over ULM Friday at Eddie Stanky Field.

Booker (4-2) did not allow a hit and tied his season high with seven strikeouts against two walks in five scoreless innings to earn his fourth win of the season. Erick Orbeta led the Jaguar attack at the plate with four hits, which tied his career high, along with two RBIs and one run scored.
