MOBILE, Ala. – Right-hander Randy Bell tossed his second straight complete game to lead the No. 22 University of South Alabama baseball team to a 4-2 win over Jacksonville State Tuesday at Stanky Field.
Bell (5-1) allowed one earned run on seven hits and struck out four while issuing one walk in nine innings to earn his fifth win of the season.
"Randy has been great for us," head coach Mark Calvi said. "He is a rotation pitcher who we are throwing on Tuesdays. We're super proud of Randy and his effort.
