BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - University of South Alabama track and field student-athletes Kaitlyn Beans (long jump) and Sean Collins (pole vault) claimed individual titles in their respective events Monday on the first day of the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championship held at the Birmingham Crossplex.
South Alabama's women's team stands in second after day one with 24 points with Arkansas State leading with 29. The men end day one of the championship meet in third with 18 points trailing Arkansas State (22 points) and Texas State (28 points).
