The New Orleans Saints released both of the former Auburn players on their active roster on Saturday, waiving safety Robenson Therezie and defensive tackle Devaroe Lawrence.
Therezie and Lawrence were among the five players waived by the Saints on Saturday as New Orleans added five players to its training-camp roster. One of the new players is former South Alabama tight end Braedon Bowman.
"Periodically we'll bring in a large group of players to work out," New Orleans coach Sean Payton said during his Saturday press conference.
